“Art Collection”.

The project idea initially formed when I was taking an art history course, students are required to memorize all information about the painting, such as its year, medium, art style, artist, texture, painting technique, subject matter, historical background, and its concept, etc. I found if without support from these pieces of information, some artworks may seem as ordinary as other thousand of artworks. In this perspective, is it possible to repackaged an ordinary painting by providing and forge these additional values? 

Interestingly, we always heard some hard to understanding artworks made one and one the most expensive work of art ever sold. Why this art is so expensive, what kind of standards determine their high prices? In this project, I used the idea of propaganda to portray an ordinary painting to become an art collection, by provide authenticity, build up reliability, and technical reproduction/mass media. I would like to bring a public awareness that whether any artwork that hard to understanding worth its high price?
